The Republicans carping about limitations on end-of-life care have a point. Lee Siegel on why the plans Obama is endorsing are dangerously sympathetic to “cost effective” end-of-life treatments.

Make no mistake about it. Determining which treatments are “cost effective” at the end of a person’s life and which are not is one of Obama’s priorities.

Obama himself told people last year to get in the face of people to spread his message but when other people get in the face of his friends, that’s wrong. A total double standard. Nobody can be against Obama, seems to be the rule. Well, the pot is boiling and is now boiling over. Get ready. People are not going to take this anymore.

I feel sorry for the Democrats out there who voted for Obama because they just didn’t want more of President Bush. Now look what you’ve got… an extreme leftist President that has spent your grandchildren’s hard earned money.

He is now trying to express a health care bill through that will nail to coffin of the American people. What he is saying is lies. He doesn’t even know what is really in the bill.

If we can’t speak up about this now, then we’re being oppressed. The Democrats think we’re drones and are not smart at all. They have a plan to make insurance companies the enemy on this. Just watch. The big news media will pick it up and run it like crazy – that is, if they don’t want to piss off their sponsors, which will be interesting.

What gets to me are the people that just listen to the big media and think they know it all. They don’t even use their brains and check out the other side and consider that point of view. Pathetic.

Even as I write this, a friend of mine posted something on Facebook saying that mis-information is being spread about the plan. So he has already made up his mind on the issue. I’m not going to change it because I can’t. He’s very narrow minded because of where he gets his news information.

Honestly, what government program works? Cash for Clunkers even had problems. All I hear from friends who have gone to state jobs or have been hired as a consultant for government jobs is that NOTHING gets done there. A guy I know that was hired as a consultant for the Department of Transportation was told by people working there to slow down. He was working too fast. He said screw that because he could not stand being in that place any more than he had to and he got done with that job quickly.

Government = waste

Why in the world would anyone in their right mind trust the government with health care. Your health care! Incredible! This just blows my mind. There would be one government body that would decide if you should receive health care for your health / specific treatments for you. They’d be looking at you and deciding if you’re worth keeping healthy. That just scares the crap out of me.

Yeah, if this doesn’t go through, Obama is done. He’ll be a failure. He’s pumping it up too much.

If this does go through, we’re all screwed.

The government (Obama) is using the media to do his dirty work. To go against his enemies and even destroy private citizens. This is very scary. Just do me a favor and look at all sides. Don’t be duped by people and the media lying to you. Don’t fall under their spell. Check out all angles. You owe it to yourself.

I write this as though we have a say in all of this… well, guess what? We do! Contact your Congressman.

Bush’s budget for 2008 had the largest, all-time deficit in history. Obama’s budget is 4 times that. Obama has spent more in 3 months than Bush did in 8 years. I didn’t make that up, it’s very real.

There’s no possible way that the money Obama is spending will yield a profit. It’s impossible. It was spent too fast and he spent too much. It’s irresponsible – no, criminal.

And he knows what he’s doing. He’s smart. It’s going to slowly tie everyone to the government – very big government and there is no undoing it. America has profoundly changed in just a few months.

Obama is tearing apart the greatest economy in the history of the world. Believe it – actually, you don’t have to… you’ll see it happen soon.

Obama Not Owning Up on the Economy

Obama clearly (CLEARLY) know the situation was when he came into office and even when he was being elected. He’s blaming Bush. No, no… no! That time is over and with the amount of money Obama is spending, he now owns this economy. No doubt. He’s got to man up. The Democrats have had the majority since 2006. Obama was in Congress then – so this is definitely Obama’s economy – no matter what he says.

Obama inherited the economy, which he knew about, but he also inherited the responsibility to lead as President. To uphold the U.S. Constitution. He inherited the United States of America where the people are free to create, innovate and excel. He inherited the greatest nation in the history of the world.

It’s childish and immature to cry like a baby and apologize for America. Presidents don’t do that – check the history books. Be proud of your country and its people.

It’s time to act like an American President, Mr. Obama. Man up!

Donald Trump on Miss California: Same as Barack Obama (www.politico.com)

Homosexuality is wrong. Most of the nation agrees with Miss California. Besides that, look at people’s anatomy. It only works one way. Pretty obviously. Even though the gay community has gained strength and it’s “cool” to accept them, it’s still wrong. Gay marriage is wrong. That’s not marriage. It’s not a family.

So thank you Carrie Prejean for being honest. We’re with you. You’re not doing anything wrong being just one voice against something when there are millions of voices for something. You should not get thrown under the bus for that. Not at all.

The problem here is Political Correctness. Every has to be equal and you can’t offend anyone. That’s wimpy. We’re turning into a nation of wimps with that kind of thinking. We’re already now not able to torture the enemy because of Political Correctness. And this is only the start. Political Correctness will bring this country down. We can see it already. The only way to stop it is if people speak up – like Miss Cali. You’ve got to stir the pot once in a while to see that there are people behind you that think the same way and in fact are the majority – not the minority.

We need to stand up for our beliefs, people. Let’s now wuss out and watch everything fall apart – because it will. This PC movement is gaining steam and momentum. It’s terrible. Don’t be afraid to say what you honestly believe – we’re with you!
