How unpatriotic!

It’s the American people that are hunkering down, rolling up their sleeves, restructuring and making it work. They have no choice. Obama gives absolutely no credit to the hardworking, American people. Is he blind or what? No wait, it’s all about him – I forgot, duh.

I think since the government hasn’t monkeyed around with new stimulus plans lately is why we’re seeing things maybe get a little better. When they kept doing that, things were not getting better. We kind of had to wait for the dust to settle to get working. So Obama not doing anything has helped more than anything.

I have a small business. The stimulus money has not helped us. If anything, it has done the opposite. Some customers of ours have had to close their doors. What we did to get through this was roll up our sleeves, trim some fat, work harder and find more creative ways to bring in business. As I recall, Obama was not here guiding us through any of that and he did not make any of those decisions for us. So how can he take credit?

I’m sure I’m not the only one that can say that.

200 Days In, Vice President Biden Touts Recovery Act (voices.washingtonpost.com)

Vice President Biden declared Thursday that the $787 billion economic stimulus program is playing a major role in lifting the nation’s economy out of the worst financial downturn since the Great Depression.

Offering an assessment of the program 200 days after its enactment, Biden said that the legislation has moved the country from the edge of a financial abyss into what increasingly looks like an economic recovery.

“The Recovery Act has played a significant role in changing the trajectory of our economy and changing the conversation about the economy in this country,” Biden said in a speech at the Brookings Institution in the District. “Instead of talking about the beginning of a depression, we are talking about the end of a recession.”

…”I am optimistic that their report will show that we met or exceeded” the goals set for the program, Biden said. The administration said the law would create or save 3.5 million jobs over two years.

So, ok… a few things.

First, so it was the government that “saved” the country, not the hardworking American people. Hmm.

Second, it’s better? Lots of people are still losing their jobs every month. Here in Wisconsin, we’ve lost manufacturing (partly thanks to our sorry governor and very high taxes here in Wisconsin). So this – right now how things are – is what they call success? It’s over? This is it? That was their plan? This was their goal?

Obama’s Euthanasia Mistake by Lee Sigel (www.thedailybeast.com)

The Republicans carping about limitations on end-of-life care have a point. Lee Siegel on why the plans Obama is endorsing are dangerously sympathetic to “cost effective” end-of-life treatments.

Make no mistake about it. Determining which treatments are “cost effective” at the end of a person’s life and which are not is one of Obama’s priorities.

Yikes.

The government can’t run anything well. The government is accountable to nobody. They do not have to report to the shareholders or anything. They can’t run Medicare well, they can’t run Social Security well, they can’t run the Department of Transportation well, the Post Office is running out of money and Cash for Clunkers didn’t run well either – ask any car dealer.

So how does the big media come back and say that the backlash is all made up and fake? Look at the facts here. Why in the world would we trust our health to the government? Are you kidding?

THE health bills coming out of Congress would put the decisions about your care in the hands of presidential appointees. They’d decide what plans cover, how much leeway your doctor will have and what seniors get under Medicare.

Yet at least two of President Obama’s top health advisers should never be trusted with that power.

Rahm Emanuel is bringing his brother in to advise. Wow, what a coincidence that his brother would be the perfect person for the job. That’s uncanny.

This reminds me of a song in the 1980s from Steve Taylor called “Lifeboat” which we used to lip sync and perform in high school because we thought it was funny. I guess we never thought that it could come true but Steve Taylor saw something coming. Here are the lyrics:

Who are they calling Nazis here? The people against these health care programs?? What?

Obama himself told people last year to get in the face of people to spread his message but when other people get in the face of his friends, that’s wrong. A total double standard. Nobody can be against Obama, seems to be the rule. Well, the pot is boiling and is now boiling over. Get ready. People are not going to take this anymore.

I feel sorry for the Democrats out there who voted for Obama because they just didn’t want more of President Bush. Now look what you’ve got… an extreme leftist President that has spent your grandchildren’s hard earned money.

He is now trying to express a health care bill through that will nail to coffin of the American people. What he is saying is lies. He doesn’t even know what is really in the bill.

If we can’t speak up about this now, then we’re being oppressed. The Democrats think we’re drones and are not smart at all. They have a plan to make insurance companies the enemy on this. Just watch. The big news media will pick it up and run it like crazy – that is, if they don’t want to piss off their sponsors, which will be interesting.

What gets to me are the people that just listen to the big media and think they know it all. They don’t even use their brains and check out the other side and consider that point of view. Pathetic.

Even as I write this, a friend of mine posted something on Facebook saying that mis-information is being spread about the plan. So he has already made up his mind on the issue. I’m not going to change it because I can’t. He’s very narrow minded because of where he gets his news information.

Honestly, what government program works? Cash for Clunkers even had problems. All I hear from friends who have gone to state jobs or have been hired as a consultant for government jobs is that NOTHING gets done there. A guy I know that was hired as a consultant for the Department of Transportation was told by people working there to slow down. He was working too fast. He said screw that because he could not stand being in that place any more than he had to and he got done with that job quickly.

Government = waste

Why in the world would anyone in their right mind trust the government with health care. Your health care! Incredible! This just blows my mind. There would be one government body that would decide if you should receive health care for your health / specific treatments for you. They’d be looking at you and deciding if you’re worth keeping healthy. That just scares the crap out of me.

Yeah, if this doesn’t go through, Obama is done. He’ll be a failure. He’s pumping it up too much.

If this does go through, we’re all screwed.

The government (Obama) is using the media to do his dirty work. To go against his enemies and even destroy private citizens. This is very scary. Just do me a favor and look at all sides. Don’t be duped by people and the media lying to you. Don’t fall under their spell. Check out all angles. You owe it to yourself.
