Just watch. This is the beginning of the end already. It’s coming sooner than I thought, too.

Anger Over Firm Depletes Obama’s Political Capital (www.washingtonpost.com)

President Obama’s apparent inability to block executive bonuses at insurance giant AIG has dealt a sharp blow to his young administration and is threatening to derail both public and congressional support for his ambitious political agenda.

Politicians in both parties flocked to express outrage over $165 million in bonuses paid out to executives at the company, demanding answers from the president and swamping yesterday’s rollout of his efforts to spark lending to small businesses.

Ok, so the Democrats give all this taxpayer money to banks and insurance companies like AIG. There were no stipulations on that money and what could be done because Congress rushed it through so quickly. So everyone is mad because people got bonuses. Those bonuses were legal because of how this was set up. And now the Senate wants to tax those people who got bonuses at 100%. Wow.

Democrats in Congress look like hacks that can’t even tie their own shoes!

They’re bringing all this up as a distraction. Can anyone say FUBAR?

These Democrats are talking themselves into circles. It’s like they’re telling lies to cover lies and the fit will hit the shan soon enough.

Meanwhile, Obama changes his tune and finally does what a leader should do and say that things aren’t as bad as they seem. He’s smart but not smart enough to know to say that at first. That is what is confusing about this guy. He’s smart but he’s doing the wrong thing!

Bonuses going directly to people is good thing, I think. They’ll spend the money that they’re counting on. That’s less homes in foreclosure. People spend money and that’s what keeps things moving.

Obama has spent more in 2 months than during Bush’s entire 8 year administration, which included a war. Wow. Say it again… wow. Taxes will be higher, putting less money into people’s hands – not good.

I think the most embarassing thing right now would be to wear an Obama shirt or have that Obama/Biden bumper sticker on my car. I chuckle whenever I see one. That anyone would admit they voted for this guy is just hilarious and they look kind of like idiots. It’ll get worse. I still see a lot of bumper stickers right now and I would bet anything (anything) that within 3 months, you’ll hardly see them.

Happy St. Pat’s and Go Bucky!
