Election day is soon. Early voting has already started. Here are some reasons and resources to not vote for Obama in case you’re undecided.
He’s Un-Presidential
Sure, he’s a great speaker when he’s reading his teleprompter but besides that, he hasn’t been that ‘Presidential’ – at all. It’s like he doesn’t belong (and no, not because of his race or anything).
You had President Reagan who always wore a tie and jacket in the Oval Office and it was the same with other Presidents. We’ve often seen Obama without a tie and his feet up on the desk. It’s stuff like that.
Obama did some strange things and didn’t adhere to tradition. He didn’t even say goodbye to the outgoing President when he took office. He took lots of expensive vacations. Stuff like that.
Obama has gone to other countries and has bowed and apologized for America. It’s like he wants to please other countries than stand up for America. It’s not clear to us why he does this.
He’s Reactive, Not Proactive
Obama is your typical “finger in the air” politician. He lives by the polls. He reacts. He didn’t print up his plan until people started asking during the debates. Why? Shouldn’t a President already have a clear plan? Especially if he has already been in office.
On gay marriage, he was first for it, then against it, then for it. Well, that might have been due to a Joe Biden gaffe but you can see, he’s not decisive. There’s no plan – he just reacts to what people think. That’s not leading. Say what you want about Bush but the man had a plan and stuck to it even in the face of opposition. Obama doesn’t have those kinds of guts, he’s wimpy.
What Did Obama Get Done?
Not much. He hasn’t lived up to what he said he would get done.
Yes, we have Obama Care but we’re finding that’s a mess… instead of people saving money, like he promised, we’re seeing people now pay MORE for their health care – and Obama Care isn’t even in full effect yet. It was also scored wrong – there was some wrong math, we found out and it was also not scored for the full amount of time.
In fact, companies like Olive Garden are switching workers from full time to part time so that they don’t have to pay increased costs for Obama Care. This is happening all over the place. As you can see, Obama Care is having the reversed effect.
There has been no budget! Obama is actually still using President Bush’s budget. Can you believe that? He complains about what Bush left him and is still using his budget. That makes no sense (is confusing). Obama is going to go down in history as the only President who couldn’t even pass a budget. He even had problems with his fellow Democrats agreeing to what he proposed (which there was no actual Obama budget on paper – he only had a speech about it, which can’t be used as a budget).
Economy – More People on Food Stamps and Jobs
Obama clearly doesn’t want people to earn money themselves and instead wants them on food stamps.
There were even months were there have been no jobs added (see August 2011).
Economy – Tax the Rich?
That’s his plan – tax the rich. That doesn’t work. Here’s why…
First, the Bush Tax Cuts will expire on Jan 1, 2013. That tax hits everyone – not just the rich. Obama says just the rich and that’s simply not true at all. I’m not sure how he can say that. Starting in January, you will have more money taken out of your paycheck and less money to take home. Obama knows this and is not planning on extending these tax cuts.
Second, rich people create jobs. You don’t want to work for someone that’s poor, right? Poor business owners can’t absorb risk (the months that are bad) and then can’t afford to pay you or stay open. You want to work for someone that’s rich.
When you tax something, you want less of it. When the government subsidizes (pays for) something, they want more of it. When you tax the rich, you’re saying that the government wants less rich people and that means less jobs because only rich people can create jobs.
Economy – Obama Inherited a Mess
He did? What a wimp! Has any other President said this? He said on day one that he would take care of everything.

So what did Obama do? He did the Stimulus! Yes, we bought salmon for $2 million each! That will fix things! Not!
Economy – Education Helps the Economy?
Not really. Not immediately, that’s for sure. Maybe in 12 years when kids get through school but not in the next few months. We need an immediate fix. That’s pretty basic and Obama’s solution is too far into the future.
And what about people who are working now? They got jobs with how schools have been. The system works just fine (in general). Sure, schools should be improved but it’s not a direct fix for the economy right now. Obama doesn’t get it.
What he really wants to do is just get more money to teacher unions – where his buddies are. That’s all that’s about. It’s not about the kids. Follow the money.
Obama Scandals
There are at least two. One is this “Fast and Furious” one where the government (under President Barack Obama) put guns into the hands of Mexican criminals. Many Mexicans and some Americans were killed because of this.
The second one is the one that’s brewing now – this Libyan Embassy attack. It’s a mess. Americans got killed and Obama really didn’t do anything or retaliate and this kind of thing has only emboldened terrorists. And on foreign policy, Obama thinks that because he killed Bin Laden, we have no more terrorist enemies. That’s very dangerous thinking for someone in charge of this country’s security (your family).
Obama’s way of raising money for his campaign has always been shady, too.
He’s Just Kind of Creepy
We’re not quite sure if he was really born an American. His past is unknown or unclear. He won’t release college transcripts. He’s been associated with some less than reputable characters (known bombers, etc.), too. He’s also kind of creepy. Remember that the media wasn’t happy with him his first 24 hours as President – he spent too much time with donors – an indication of where his priorities were.

Still not sure? Read on (I’m updating and adding more here):
CNN: Why you shouldn’t vote for Obama
Since Obama took office, median household income has declined more than $4,000. More people are on food stamps than ever before — 46.7 million. The poverty rate is around 15%, the highest since 1993. The average retail price of gasoline has more than doubled under Obama, rising from $1.84 per gallon to more than $3.80 per gallon. In spite of this, he stopped the approval of the Keystone pipeline for further review.

Don’t Vote for Obama If You Like Your Job, CEO Tells Employees (inthesetimes.com)
So, when you make your decision to vote, ask yourself, which candidate understands the economics of business ownership and who doesn’t? Whose policies will endanger your job? Answer those questions and you should know who might be the one capable of protecting and saving your job. While the media wants to tell you to believe the “1 percenters” are bad, I’m telling you they are not. They create most of the jobs. If you lose your job, it won’t be at the hands of the “1%”; it will be at the hands of a political hurricane that swept through this country.
Why I’m voting for Romney (nypost.com)
Each time I mention that I voted for Barack Obama in 2008, I get a blast from some who didn’t. “How could you be so dumb?” is a typical response to my confession.
It is certainly a confession — of error. Obama fooled me once, but not twice. I’m voting for Mitt Romney Nov. 6th.
To understand why I’m switching, it helps to understand why I backed Obama four years ago. I am a Democrat, but vote as an independent. I see people, not parties, so Obama’s label played no role.
Why I Will Not Vote for Obama Again (ethiopianreview.com)
In May 2012, President Obama publicly stated that his views had evolved and that he now believes that same sex marriage must be allowed in America. He basically made a complete U-turn on what he said 4 years ago, a complete betrayal of trust, many men and women of faith had in him.
Is this a value of Ethiopian-Americans? Using his bully pulpit, if the President of the United States, continues to be the unofficial spokesperson of the organized attack against traditional marriage, wouldn’t a vote for him be considered as a vote against traditional marriage?
Conclusion
Thank you for reading this. It shows me that you’re researching and looking for answers. You’re not just one of these people that checks the headlines of the evening news and believes it (a.k.a.”drinking the Kool-Aid” like a lemming (no brain)). You have a brain and realize that elections matter and have consequences. We can have the America that we used to have and you researching and looking at your options for your vote is important.
Many soldiers have died over the years for us to have our freedom – and our freedom to vote and elect our President. It’s a fought for privilege that we have. Don’t take it lightly.
Thanks,
