Ha! I was watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and when the Decepticons took over, they said that President Obama was being flown to a secret bunker in the middle of the United States. And then he gives this uptight bureaucrat to take over the operations and shut down the NEST team, which is the good guys – the Autobots. That turned out to be the wrong decision for sure.

Of course it’s all fake and I’m not sure if John Favreau meant to show that the government, ran by Obama, made the wrong decision but that’s a hidden gem in the movie. Interesting.

Ban on Baby Cribs – Where Does It End?

Ok, so sliding side baby cribs are killing babies, that’s bad – no question about it. But how bad?

I heard that 32 babies have died in the last 10 years. That’s like 3 babies a year – out of how many? And that is so bad that the government has to step in and ban these types of baby cribs. It’s that bad. Three per year.

Where does it end? Three deaths per year for something and the government has to step in. More people die slipping in their bathtubs per year, is that next? Please.

Obama Can’t Take the Heat

He’s not a tough as Bush and sounds kinda whiny here:

“With iPods and iPads and Xboxes and PlayStations, — none of which I know how to work — information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation,” Obama said.

Are we finding too much about what Obama is doing? Is that the problem? Or can’t he handle the job? He did something a few weeks ago where he ditched the press and didn’t show up where he was supposed to so that he could get away from them. Is this job too hard for him or what?
