Obama health care fabrications exposed by fact-checking (www.examiner.com)

The more Obama talks about his health care reform program, the more inconsistencies are being found by fact-checkers. The basic facts about coverage, cost and who foots the bill that he touts are being challenged by independent organizations who have begun to expose the fabrications. The inconsistencies by Obama between his rhetoric and reality are becoming more obvious every time he opens his mouth trying to fend off criticism of his health care proposals.

He said that the U.S. spends 50 percent more per capita on health care than the next most expensive country. Not quite. We spend 20 percent more than the second most expensive country, and 50 percent more than the third.

He’s really losing on healthcare. The more he tries, the worse he does. Democrats are turning on him. This won’t get signed on Obama’s timetable. Fail.

That’s a big number (it’s a thousand billion!). Thanks, Mr. Obama, we’re in the poor house now but that’s all part of your plan to make us even more dependent on the government, I know.

Yeah, it is like Obama hit the accelerator when he should have hit the brakes with spending. Well, we knew this but apparently the Obama Administration didn’t see it coming:

- The average length of official unemployment increased to 24.5 weeks, the longest since government began tracking this data in 1948. The number of long-term unemployed (i.e., for 27 weeks or more) has now jumped to 4.4 million, an all-time high.

…It may have made him unpopular in parts of the Obama administration, but Vice President Joe Biden was right when he said a week ago that the administration misread how bad the economy was and how effective the stimulus would be.

It’s like I said, Obama knew the state of things when he was running for the job of President and when he walked into office. There’s no blaming he can do. That’s pretty wimpy. Man up, dude. We’re not idiots out here even if the media repeats the same thing 500 times – well, I can speak for 58 million of us, at least – not the rest, although some in the middle seem to be seeing the light and regret who they voted for. Oops.

I’m all for capitalism but the people that voted for Obama might not be understanding what’s going on and this may bring down Obama’s approval rating.

A lack of competition and a surge in revenues from trading foreign currency, bonds and fixed-income products has sent profits at Goldman Sachs soaring, according to insiders at the firm.

Goldman, a prime broker of US government bonds, is expected to make hundreds of millions of dollars in profits from selling and dealing in the bonds.

Hey, if people deserve it, they should get bonuses and pay raises. That’s how you reward and keep them. The gray area is that they received stimulus money. It seems that Goldman Sachs is set up to benefit from all of Obama’s spending. Hmm.

This is just one part of a bigger equation that is slowly being revealed. Just a tiny part. I don’t think all of this is an accident but has been carefully planned. We’ll see.
