The Second Debate

I was impressed with Romney because he had the numbers. He had the facts. This is natural for any business owner or executive. They know the numbers on things because they live and breathe them. They’re into those numbers like crazy because their business (and the employees in that business) depend on things to add up right. So I liked that a lot. The more and more I see Romney, the more I’m impressed with him.

Obama, on the other hand, was in a fight where the odds were in his favor and he was adequate. He was better than the first debate but had no vision. He didn’t lay out anything for what he’s going to do. This means that he was mainly defensive. People saw that. Obama dodged lots of questions and didn’t even answer what people were asking.

I also caught Obama saying “When I was President” which I felt was odd. A slip? Here’s more on that:

I liked how to two were able to talk to each other a bit. That was odd but it was good.

The moderator was terrible. She was obviously biased and tried to help Obama quite a bit. Obama got more time again, too.

Both sides probably felt like they came out winners. We’ll find out in three weeks.
