Confusing Obama

OK, so people that make more should pay more taxes. They should contribute more because they make more money… not because they’re getting more services from the government. They’re most likely getting many less services from the government than a poorer person, yet they pay more.

I’m all for compassion and I know people fall on hard times but this just isn’t going to fly.

People, on paper, making $1 million or more are not rich people – not all of them. Most of them are small business owners who file their business taxes personally. Others are farmers – yes, farmers look rich on paper – very rich. Their $200k combine that they only use 2 weeks a year is an asset. They have to make enough money to buy things like that. They have property and lots of inventory (crops). Obama wants to hit them – the food producers.

Ok, if that happens, food prices will go up.

And who are the job creators? The rich! Business owners. Who has ever gotten a job from a poor person. You don’t want to work for a poor person. You want to work from a rich person. Tax them and they have less money to create jobs. This isn’t rocket surgery.

And this will not become law. It won’t pass. Obama is just using this for campaign fuel. Republicans won’t like and it Obama will say that they don’t want to work with him… waaa! Waaa! Waaa! This is getting old, man. We’re not stupid.
