Lawmakers: Auto Bailout on Verge of Collapse

As the Big Three auto chiefs return to Washington to plead once again for a bailout, key lawmakers are saying the deal may already be dead. Republican leaders are resisting any bailout, and Democrats are divided between union advocates and environmentalists. Meanwhile, President-elect Barack Obama remains on the sidelines.

I would think this is important and Obama has no opinion at all. How is this guy going to lead? He’s not willing to share his opinion on things because he’s afraid to be wrong and take the hit. Well, welcome to real politics, Obama.
